2024 Synology failed to apply the settings

So, I put the disk in a linux desktop and repartitioned the drive I am having trouble with. Back into the DS218+. System still shows "degraded". This drive shows as healthy but Not Initialized. When I try to do a Storage Pool repair, I can select this drive, but then Apply results in "Failed to Apply Settings".. Az account get access token
